Jim has lived in Blowing Rock since 2010 and made his mark on our community as a developer and volunteer leader.

During a career as a resort community planner and developer, Jim was the strategic leader instrumental in the redevelopment and rebranding of Ginn LaurelMor, a planned mountain community that eventually became Blue Ridge Mountain Club after the 2008 recession.

Jim also has a long history of community service with the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce, where he served as board chair for six years.  He is currently on the executive committee and is the projects committee chair for the Village Foundation of Blowing Rock, which was established during his tenure as the Blowing Rock Chamber chair.
